We are teaming up with Slow Install to bring our latest iteration of Dreamworks - ‘Dreamworks 2’. Interested in where the work lies, DreamWorks 2 aims to champion ideas over materialism in a climate which is continuously hampering artists on an economical and spatial scale- Now more than ever should ideas be celebrated, welcomed and put into practice.

We want Blue Sky Thinking, using this as an opportunity to consider in an ideal scenario, without scale, money or plausibility constraints, what would be your dream work? We are focused on artists' personal interpretation of the term impossible; staying true to the trajectory their practices are currently taking. The work can be an altered iteration of an already existing artwork or a new fabrication from the mind.

This time we are opening the process to an open call with the zeal to hear ideas, developing and visualising the selected artists work with Slow Install into 3D rendered works. The exhibition will exist on IKO’s website and Instagram with the work accompanied by the idealised material list, activating it and allowing the audience to visualise the scale and materiality of it, finishing the realisation of the artwork. The fabric of the space will be defined and curated by IKO depending on the selected works.

We are open to all disciplines other than time-based work due to logistics. To apply to DreamWorks 2 please email an image (file, drawing, photograph, digital mock up- max 1mb) of one proposed work and a description of that work (max 300 words) to -

Deadline is midday 26th July 2020. We look forward to seeing some amazing ideas!
